September is officially here. My fantasy draft went well today. I landed the number one pick so lets go Titans! Labor Day, which is also my birthday, is a few days away. I had this week scheduled since the beginning of the series. Wu-tang was one of the most influential groups of my era. The production was raw and gritty and soulful and simple. I picked a few and Distant made me a lil mix to go in on. Enjoy.

Hey ladies and gents. Welcome to Week 33 of the 52 Bar series. Life is real and it plays out in my weekly’s. I wanted to pose a few questions and give some food for thought if I may. How do you know when you meet the right person? Is that person right for the moment or are they right forever. Some for a season is how the saying goes (kind of) and if you haven’t been with a person forever how will you know what its like to see it? I guess its like believing in God. You cant see it but you know it and if it turns out it wasn’t then it wasn’t God lol. In the meantime play on playas and playarettes. Enjoy the rest of the summer. RIP to the big homie Pimp C. Whats good people? All is well with the team. One of my OG’s came home
and reached out and told me how he loved what I was doing and
requested that I hit DMX’s first official single from “Its Dark and
Hell is Hot” and I thought why not. Beats like this remind me of
better times. Its also good to get away from the industry people and
the internet and hear from the streets. Lots of my supporters don’t do
email or twitter or facebook. This one is for them. Feedback is always
appreciated. Make sure yall vote for Nico the Beast, Lexx 9Eleven,
Money First and Hiphopdx in the UMA voting. Im sure I forgot someone

As the heat wave continues and electricity bills rise, the energy definitely went through the roof for me this past week. iStandard showcases in Philly and Atlanta followed by an early morning flight back to Philly to prep for Nico the Beast’s “The Beast Within” album release party had me on my toes. Pardon me as I exhale. Week 26 marks the halfway point on this trip and even though it’s halftime, Im not taking a breather. Large Professor crafted a beautiful cut on which Nasir Jones laid his lyrical wizardry upon. Honestly I knew that I would be using this track when I originally decided to do the 52 week series. Thanks to all who are still listening and thanks to those who tuned in at some point along the way. The audience and the feedback is truly love. 2010 is at its middle point and we’re still here. Its week 14 and the weather in Philadelphia is excellent! Spring is
upon us. Easter is upon us. Be grateful to God for another week on
Earth. This week begins the 2nd quarter of the series. I dialed up a
little Scarface produced by Kanye and originally featuring Hov and
Beans. Its been a fun ride so far and that chapter is closed so now we
move on.The 1st quarter mixtape will be out in a few weeks. Shouts to

The buzzer has sounded and it’s the end of the 1st quarter! 13 weeks
later the feedback has been appreciated greatly. The criticism has
been constructive and the support has been unwavering. I wasn’t sure
of what to expect when I started the series and it hasn’t been easy.
I’ve been sick, tired, out of town, etc. but I made a promise to my
fans and supporters and to myself and looking back at the first
quarter I had a good time doing it. That’s what music is for me. Quiet

This week the east coast was dumped on by massive snowfall twice. The accumulation touched somewhere around 40 to 50 inches. Luckily I snuck out in between snowfalls and made it to Atlanta, Ga. Vacation doesn’t stop deadlines and I had to call in a few favors to knock this week out. Kels of TN2 Productions and Rook of the J.U.S.T.I.C.E.
