Hey ladies and gents. Welcome to Week 33 of the 52 Bar series. Life is real and it plays out in my weekly’s. I wanted to pose a few questions and give some food for thought if I may. How do you know when you meet the right person? Is that person right for the moment or are they right forever. Some for a season is how the saying goes (kind of) and if you haven’t been with a person forever how will you know what its like to see it? I guess its like believing in God. You cant see it but you know it and if it turns out it wasn’t then it wasn’t God lol. In the meantime play on playas and playarettes. Enjoy the rest of the summer. RIP to the big homie Pimp C. Whats good people? All is well with the team. One of my OG’s came home
and reached out and told me how he loved what I was doing and
requested that I hit DMX’s first official single from “Its Dark and
Hell is Hot” and I thought why not. Beats like this remind me of
better times. Its also good to get away from the industry people and
the internet and hear from the streets. Lots of my supporters don’t do
email or twitter or facebook. This one is for them. Feedback is always
appreciated. Make sure yall vote for Nico the Beast, Lexx 9Eleven,
Money First and Hiphopdx in the UMA voting. Im sure I forgot someone

Welcome to the 28th Week of 2010. Its hot right? lol. If you live somewhere that is sub-90’s then get at me so i can make travel arrangements. After a wonderful two nights at Fluid Night Club in Philly listening to dope beats from some of the best unsigned producers around and taking in wisdom from industry staples such as Digga, Illmind and Omen, I dropped by the studio to lay my BMF Freestyle. Shouts to my role model, Rhonda Nicholas and my step father turned real father, Paul Nicholas. I want to be like them. Y’all know by now I’m always one to buck trends but at the same time I grew up with, around and under certified North Philly gangsters and I know there ain’t no money like fast money. I’m still blowin it. I just switched the hustle. Catch me in Atlanta next week at CW Midtown blowin some more. Just make sure when you blow it, that it blows in a direction that will make you more! Welcome to Week 23! The Neptunes dropped this hard bouncy track for
Game’s Red Album and I had to jump on it. The Devil must have come out
and touched the sun and made it extra hot this week because it was
blazing outside. The side effect of that is crazy violence. We lost a
beautiful young lady who was very active in Philly’s music scene,
Sabina Rose O’Donnell. She was murdered 3 blocks away from where I
lived just a few short months ago. A 25,000 dollar reward has been

that the senseless violence in this city is evil, counterproductive
and downright disgusting. I’m sick of funerals and memorials. Change
the mindset people. Life is precious. Every single life is precious.

Its week 14 and the weather in Philadelphia is excellent! Spring is
upon us. Easter is upon us. Be grateful to God for another week on
Earth. This week begins the 2nd quarter of the series. I dialed up a
little Scarface produced by Kanye and originally featuring Hov and
Beans. Its been a fun ride so far and that chapter is closed so now we
move on.The 1st quarter mixtape will be out in a few weeks. Shouts to

The buzzer has sounded and it’s the end of the 1st quarter! 13 weeks
later the feedback has been appreciated greatly. The criticism has
been constructive and the support has been unwavering. I wasn’t sure
of what to expect when I started the series and it hasn’t been easy.
I’ve been sick, tired, out of town, etc. but I made a promise to my
fans and supporters and to myself and looking back at the first
quarter I had a good time doing it. That’s what music is for me. Quiet

R.I.P. to my favorite emcee of all time, Christopher Wallace aka The Notorious B.I.G aka a bunch of other names that helped start rappers come up with a bunch of different aka’s along with the Wu. I dedicate this weeks 52 to him. As i rocked Ready to Die and Life After Death all week i thought of which beat to use… then I popped in my favorite Big mix and “It’s All About the Benjamins” came on and it transformed me back to my room during the high school era listening to the track for the first time on the radio. I was already hype knowing Big was on it with the LOX and Puff so i was rocking till the beat dropped into a bridge that drove me nuts. Wow. Biggie is still in my regular rotation and always will be. I decided to jump on one of their biggest hits and one of the illest
beats the great one ever produced. It’s hard to ignore the social
landscape of America as I travel to different cities and see the same
conditions as in my own neighborhood here in Philadelphia. Shout outs

Its funny how this blog has become a mini journal of sorts. I cant say i vigorously promote it because I don’t. Its more of a place to keep track of things I do. This weeks freestyle comes courtesy of Kanye West with a bit of help from Daft Punk. We all vilify Kanye at times but then again we all have our Kanye moments. These are the times when you know you worked so hard at something and it went unnoticed. I have them every now and then so I decided to talk about it. Artists today advertise to other artists. Its like a sausagefest but with music instead lol. There’s also alot of silly jealousy and hate. People want me to support their movements fully but give lukewarm support or none at all when I need it. Its not going to happen buddy. Besides we aren’t on the same wavelength anyway. They think we are in the same lane but thats not my bumper you’re following. So without further ado I give you week 9, “Flashing Lights”.
