A - The “Get Your Buzz Up” Industry Experience is an opportunity for up-and-coming artists to network with and perform in front of esteemed tastemakers in all fields of the music and media worlds. Within the experience, we have various vendor tables set up that include companies that the artists and attendees can benefit from such as publicity/design/web/video servies, entertainment attorneys, digital distribution outlets, new clothing companies, various press entities and much much more. We also have the most organized and professional artist showcase in which 15 Hip-Hop artists of all styles compete for a prize package that will enhance their overall exposure level within the music industry. Past showcase judges have included reps from Def Jam, G-Unit, Universal, Bad Boy, XXL, The Source, AllHipHop.com, HipHopDX.com and much much more. The Co-Founder of Inasirkl Music Group, J Hatch was also a Co-Founder of The Faces in The Crowd Showcase and was instrumental in helping Chrisette Michele get discovered and signed to Island/Def Jam.

A - In order to be considered for the showcase portion you must submit your MySpace page OR a single you would perform to getyourbuzzup@gmail.com. PLEASE PUT NYC or PHILLY in the SUBJECT LINE, depending on which showcase you are submitting for.

If selected there is a $300 registration fee. ($100 due in advance at meeting or via PayPal to secure your slot, remaining $200 is due in cash at soundcheck). For that fee, all artists will perform their 1 Song, receive tickets to sell or giveaway, a stack of flyers, as well as the e-promo package (MySpace codes, Twitter blast and jpegs for Facebook and MySpace invites)

FYI- Only feature artists get flyer placement. Do NOT submit if your budget does not allow for the registration fee, these shows cost thousands to put on and are not free. After you pay for two shows, you get a free feature slot. I need to see your commitment and grind before I extend that opportunity.
