Welcome to week 34. Its weird to count down my year like this but its a new experience.  I hope I never do a daily. That would really make the year fly by faster. This week is back to the basics. Bars. People often label rappers who just spit bars but there’s always a message in the music even when slick talk and punchlines are involved. Honestly joints like this are fun for me. I get to just touch on a few things that are on my mind. Be sure to catch the site for more than just the freestyles. I’ve been posting opportunities and  events for artists and music professionals on the grind. This upcoming week marks two major events for the year. The first is the iStandard Producer Showcase at Highlands Hollywood in Los Angeles, California on Monday and Tuesday (the 23rd and 24th) and the Coast 2 Coast Convention in Miami, Florida which I posted about earlier in the week. Both are major. The Convention is critical. It will be one of those events like the Money Management Conferences that will have people talking afterwards till the next one comes around. Shouts to Nick and Fats and Mad Dog and Illaj and the whole team over there for bringing opportunities for unsigned and up and coming talent.  Till we meet next week!
