In 2009 Obama said Yes we can. At the end of 2010 I say Yes we did. At the end of 2009, which was one of the shittiest years in recent memory I decided I wanted to do something consistent. I wanted to do a weekly freestyle. Now weekly freestyles have been done before but I wanted to put my own twist on it. I decided to do a bar for every week of the year every week of the year. (did i lose anyone there? lol) It sounded cool but it also sounded a bit crazy. Thoughts of Alan Iverson repeating practice over and over resounded in my head because if you know me then you know that doing a freestyle is nothing really more than practice. But practice and hardwork and consistency is what separates the regular from the greats. My goal wasn’t to do something to become instantly famous. The goal was to keep myself sharp and keep my listeners with something new. After countless studio sessions in different cities and at least 51 headaches, the end is hear. I want to thank everyone who participated in some manner with this adventure. I know these aren’t complete sentences so know i know and read them anyway.
